I finished my Podcast on the Dr. Seuss book "Oh The Places You'll Go." I think that it came out pretty well, I felt really goofy reading into my computer-at least I was able to do the reading in the privacy of my own apartment and not in the computer lab. The problem with my Podcast is that I went over the time limit, hopefully it won't hurt me to much with my grade. This was one of the more fun activities that we've done in opinion. Next week our Non-linear powerpoint is due...oh joy :(

I was excited to be able to do my podcast at home as well. It is so strange listening to yourself talk. I didn't like it. I have found myself more tuned into what I say and how it sounds. In the end the result was nice and I can see myself using it in the classroom.
I can completely relate Kristy. I was so happy when I walked into the lab to record my podcast and no one was in there. Then 10 minutes later 2 people came in and I had to warn them. I said guys just to let you know if you hear me talking to myself I'm recording a podcast. It was something I just had to get over. Overall, the podcast was fun to create and I know will act as valuable tool in the future.
Kristy, I totally agree with you about feeling weird talking into computer! I did mine in the lab when we were in class and I was so embarrassed! Not to mention that I chose the most bizarre story to read! I didn't want to go over my time limit, so I chose a Native American short story called "Ugly Face." I think the name says it all. I kept messing up and having to read it over again, each time feeling more and more embarrassed! Wow...I'm glad that's over!
Yea, my podcast recording had a very large audience. The worst was that I subjected myself to upsetting all of my fellow students only to not save the podcast right and have to redo it in another busy computer lab.
